Today, the production supervisor organized a training session for the use of the Enterprise Resource Planning system(ERP ). The training primarily focused on the functions of each module within the ERP system, including the financial module, sales module, procurement module, inventory module, production module, and reporting and analysis module.

During the training, the detailed use of the Bill of Materials (BOM) was explained. The BOM serves various purposes and serves as the foundation for collaborative work among different departments. To illustrate the entire process, the ZT403A  keyless RV door lock  was used as an example.Process covered the following aspects:

1. Technical BOM: The technical department provides the information of ZT403A keyless caravan entry door lock in the header and detail sections of their drawings, including material requirements(zinc alloy, steel, ABS) and the associated manufacturing processes,such as die casting,threading,spraying,etc. 

2. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): The production planning department uses the technical BOM of keyless camper door latch to break down the material requirements for each workshop and creates process-based SOPs that are distributed to different positions.

The production supervisor provided a thorough explanation, demonstrating each step using new design keyless RV door lock as an example. This helped colleagues responsible for different departments quickly understand and apply the ERP system.
