One of our Czech clients showed great interest in our popular product, JF-7893 rotary latch . We sent a sample to the client, who specifically requested a stainless steel material for the latch, as it is intended for use on stainless steel doors. However, upon receiving the sample, he noticed that it had magnetic properties. We promptly analyzed the situation and discovered that our engineer had mistakenly used steel instead of stainless steel during the production process.
We immediately apologized to him, acknowledging that our mistakes resulted in them receiving a sample that did not meet their expectations. We assured him that for his upcoming bulk order, we would ensure the use of stainless steel materials. When he tested the functionality of the product, they provided positive feedback and expressed satisfaction with our product. The only minor issue raised was that the spring used in the sample we sent differed slightly from the one in the model.
We consulted our engineer regarding this matter and learned that if we used the spring from the model in our sample, the rotary latch would not function properly. Therefore, our engineer made some modifications to the sample design. After understanding this explanation, he discussed it with his own engineer and ultimately decided to provide us with new design drawings for the customized latch they desired.
Later in the afternoon, we received a message from our engineer, confirming that we had successfully produced the latch according to the client's specifications. After sending photos for the client's confirmation, we are now preparing to ship the product. We hope that this time our sample will meet his approval and look forward to future cooperation with him.
